I optioned it as if I were going to be buying it, so I didn't go stupidly overboard on the options sheet. One of my neighbors has a 328i sedan in this color, so I know I like it in the flesh.

Yes. It starts at 41,450. All I added was the Luxury Line (2,300), The imperial blue metallic (550), cold weather package (950), Lighting Package (900), Premium Package [(2,200) don't exactly know what that was], Rear sun shades (250), and then finally destination (925).

funny side story real quick the Focus (all variants, yes ST) is built in my city, there is literally a Ford dealership across the street, there is still an $825 destination charge. I've heard of people getting it waved but seriously?!

That should make you feel better about seeing a $925 charge tacked on from BMW.

Here's the only realistic new car I'd get from BMW. Quicker than my E46, some nicer options and better highway MPGs. Now if I could just convince someone with more money than me that this would be a good lease...
